8:58 am - V-Day
It's snowing. WTF?

Interesting weekend, so far. msbelle is visiting this weekend, so we spent yesterday wandering about, listening to the various Bride of Frankenmix CDs we had between us, and visiting local consignment and antique shops. Also, the used book store in Wakefield was running a 50% off sale on ALL their used books. A lot of books were purchased. The consignment store in Peace Dale was a revelation, lots of good stuff cheap, including a colonial pantry/hutch thing that was in great shape and only $165. If only I had a place to put it. Need to go back at some point.

Then we drove up to Worcester to see vwbug, noradeirdre, and myainsel perform in the Vagina Monologues. They were all great. Neat theatre, too. Lots of Somervillains in attendance, including DebetEsse, who I hadn't met before. Afterwards we all went to a seafood place for drinks and food (for most folks, anyway), and didn't get out of there until about 1 a.m. Got in after 2, and went right to sleep.

This morning, the sun got me up at 7:30, so I fixed myself a mocha and started catching up on b.org. Half an hour later, the clouds rolled in, and now it's snowing like crazy. This wasn't predicted, so I'm hoping it's just a snow shower, because we have mansions to see.

It's starting to accumulate, though.

Strange... it's full sunshine here in Boston, though only 17 degrees. Go North, young man!

Re:
Apparently is was a very localized snow shower on the edge of the front as it went through. Bright and sunny again now, and much colder.

I'm glad you all had a good time. Wish I could have been there. Well, except for that freaky snow thing you 've got going on.
