It's been a long wait. I put the seedlings in the ground back on May 11th, so it's been more than three months. (I will note for the record that there was one tomato that was ripe last week, but it turned out to have a huge insect hole in it, along with some attendant rot. It got heaved into the thicket.) I picked five, although the tops are still a little green. One was a Jubilee. I know that because it was yellow. I have no idea what varieties the others were because the labels I put next to each plant have faded in the sunlight. Whatever it was, the one I had with dinner was delicious.
