So, it's more like 9-10" out there, or way more than my little electric snow thrower was designed to handle (4-6" max). Still, it soldiered on. It just took a couple three passes to get down to the bottom. While I was out there, a town plow came by and shoved more snow across the end of my driveway, but a couple of minutes later he came back and plowed it back out. That was way nice of him. It made things a LOT easier.
